Immunogenetic Profiling of Goeckerman Therapy in the Treatment of Psoriasis Vulgaris
This study examines the effect of Goeckerman therapy (a combination of phototherapy and topical crude coal tar), crude coal tar alone, and phototherapy alone on the immunologic and genetic environment within psoriatic skin lesions.

IMPACT - AndHealth Autoimmune Research Registry
This is a patient research registry aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of a comprehensive, root-cause medical approach ("AndHealth program") for autoimmune disorders. This approach involves a combination of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies offered under the care of a licensed physician with the support of health coaches. While protocol guidance is provided, the therapeutic approach is personalized to the individual needs of patients. The autoimmune disorders of focus in this registry include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, psoriasis and ankylosing spondylitis. A variety of validated labs, ...

Impact of Hyperuricemia on Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriatic arthritis and gout (linked to hyperuricemia) are two rheumatisms well known to rheumatologists. There are epidemiological and physiopathological arguments in favor of a non-fortuitous link between these two rheumatisms, which to date has not been established. There is currently no recommendation to treat hyperuricaemia without an episode of gout attack. We hypothesize that there is a link between hyperuricemia and severity of rheumatism. This would ultimately modify the therapeutic management of hyperuricemic patients followed for psoriatic arthritis.

Impact of Tapering Immunosuppressants on Maintaining Minimal Disease Activity in Adult Subjects With Psoriatic Arthritis
The rationale for this study is to investigate whether in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) patients in stable remission a reduction or complete discontinuation of immunosuppressive therapy can be achieved in a treat-to-target approach while maintaining in remission. Due to the lack of reliable data that answers the question of how to safely reduce medication in which patients, this study will test a pragmatic treatment algorithm that can be applied in clinical practice and that offers a gradual reduction with escape strategies in order to facilitate the maintenance of remission.

Impact of the Mediterranean Diet on Patients With Psoriasis
The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the effect of a high-intensity Mediterranean diet intervention over 16 weeks in a group of patients with mild to moderate psoriasis in terms of skin improvement as measured by PASI. In addition, the aim of this study will be to gather the necessary information for a larger and more extended clinical trial in the future. Participants will be provided with dietary education for the implementation of the Mediterranean diet, supported by a monthly follow-up by nutritionists with experience in the field. Researchers will compare the effect of the Mediterranean diet on these patients to a ...

Improving Disease Severity
Phototherapy, including ultraviolet B (UVB) and ultraviolet A (UVA) light, has been used to treat a number of dermatologic conditions. Psoriasis is one of the most common conditions treated with phototherapy, in which phototherapy is often indicated for extensive disease with contraindications for other systemic treatments. The mechanism of action of phototherapy for the treatment of psoriasis is not completely understood; however, it is known that UVB light induces apoptosis of pathogenic T cells and keratinocytes, which may reduce the overactive immune response and epidermal hyperproliferation. Phototherapy has shown some efficacy...

Information and Acceptability of Biosimilars
Patients with rheumatoid arthritis or spondyloarthritis, currently treated or about to be started with anti-TNF original drug adalimumab or etanercept will be included and randomized to either " information leaflet only " or " information leaflet + nurse information " arms, just before they see their rheumatologist for periodic assessment of disease and treatment. Patients from the " information leaflet only " arm will be distributed individually a dedicated leaflet with written generic informations about the use of biosimilars in rheumatic diseases (individual and societal advantages, pharmaceutical development, scientific efficacy ...
