ProspectIve Cohort psoriASiS fOllow-up (PICASSO)
The main purpose of the PICASSO-project is to facilitate future psoriasis-research in dermatology. This register biobank will enable us to perform research in the field of metabolomics, mRNA-expression, cardiovascular impact and the microbiome. The final aims are patient stratification, better insight in disease-evolution and improved understanding of markers that predispose to severe disease.

PsoBest - The German Psoriasis Registry
Treatment of moderate to severe Psoriasis (Pso) and Psoriasis-Arthritis (PsA) is largely confined to systemic therapy in Germany. Systemic therapy includes conventional systemic therapy (e.g. fumaric acids, methotrexate, ciclosporin A) and biological treatment (e.g. adalimumab, etanercept). While short- and middle-term efficacy of most systemic treatments has been shown in clinical studies (and is incorporated in international guidelines), knowledge about long-term outcomes, optimal treatment and effectiveness under real-world conditions is still missing. PsoBest, the German registry on the treatment of moderate to severe Pso and PsA...

Psorcast Mobile Study
The purpose of this study is to understand variation in the symptoms of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis using simple, scalable smartphone-based measurements. This study uses an iPhone app to record these symptoms through questionnaires and sensors.

Psoriatic Arthritis D2P Screening
The overarching goal of this study is to develop a direct-to-patient screening approach that will improve early Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) detection in patients with psoriasis. Previously developed screening questionnaires were intended for use in the setting of a doctor's office to assist providers with referral decisions. However, these screening questionnaires are infrequently used in routine practice because of limitations with time and resources. The study will aim to develop a practical screening strategy that does not require involvement from dermatologists (or other non-rheumatology providers) and can systematically reach a ...

Psoriatic Immune Response to Tildrakizumab
This study aims to assess cutaneous and blood immune cell function of patients with psoriasis before and after initiation of treatment with the IL23 blocker, tildrakizumab.

Quantitative Ultrasound of the Enthesis in Fibromyalgia and Psoriatic Arthritis
This prospective, cross-sectional, observational study will include subjects with fibromyalgia (FM), psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and asymptomatic controls. Participants will undergo a research ultrasound (US) exam of the enthesis of the Achilles' tendon, the medial collateral ligament at the femoral epicondyle and the common extensor tendon at lateral epicondyle of the elbow in resting conditions. The research US exam will consist of shear wave elastography (SWE) and radiofrequency (RF) data acquisitions. SWE technology will allow quantification of the shear wave speed (SWS) reporting the elastic stiffness of the tissues under...

Regulation of Inflammatory Genes in Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic and recurrent skin disorder characterized by marked inflammatory changes in the skin. An extensive cytokine network including generated by activated dendritic cells and T cells mediates the formation of psoriatic lesions. These immune-response parameters can be used as markers in the severity and management of the disease after further in-depth studies.

Regulation of Mucosal Healing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
The objective of the current study is to compare non-healing colonic ulcers in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) with iatrogenic colonic ulcers (biopsy sites) in healthy control patients and patients with rheumatoid or psoriatic arthritis. Patients will be biopsied at baseline and again at a follow-up visit in a "biopsy of the biopsy" approach. These biopsies will be used to reveal patterns about gene expression and mitochondrial function during ulcer healing.

Rheumatology-based Adaptive Intervention for Social Determinants and Health Equity
Social determinants of health (SDoH), defined by the World Health Organization as "the conditions in which people are born, grow, work, live and age and the wider set of forces and systems shaping the conditions of daily life" are estimated to be responsible for nearly 90 percent of a person's health outcomes. SDoH are key contributors to racial, ethnic and socioeconomic disparities in care healthcare access and health outcomes. The goal of this clinical trial is to identify patients with inflammatory arthritis or with a systemic rheumatic condition with arthritis who may respond to the simplest and least expensive intervention to...
